Gaius has a tendency to give people nicknames if he comes up with something good enough. They can be contradictory, completely random, or made after a feature or behaviour of the person he talks to. Also he doesn't give them to everyone he meets, it's very sporadic. I'll just list all of the ones I have here, for fun :3c

Cordelia - "mother" (Ambiguous 'cuz he was annoyed at that time but APPLICABLE).
